Action Reference

Move to

This moves the file or folder to the specified destination folder. Click the "Options" button can open or close the advanced options of "Move to" action. If a file or folder with the same name exists at the destination folder, you can specify whether a number should be added to the end of the name by selecting the "auto rename" option, or add a number to the old file by selecting the "replace (rename the old one)" option, or delete the old file by selecting the "replace (delete the old one)"

the "sort into subfolder" feature is for you to organize files into folders which named with files attributes value. you can edit the subfolder name pattern in the pattern input box, insert the file attribute symbol by clicking the "insert" button and select from the list. If the subfolder named with the file's attribute is not exist this action will automatically create the folder with the attribute's value.

Note that subsequent actions in the same rule apply to the moved file or folder.

Copy to

This copies the file or folder to the specified destination folder. Click the "Options" button can open or close the advanced options of "Copy to" action. If a file or folder with the same name exists at the destination folder, you can specify whether a number should be added to the end of the name by selecting the "auto rename" option, or add a number to the old file by selecting the "replace (rename the old one)" option, or delete the old file by selecting the "replace (delete the old one)"

Rename to

Renames a file or folder. You can specify a pattern to use for the renaming. You can edit the name pattern in the pattern input box, insert the file attribute symbol by clicking the "insert" button and select from the list. If a file or folder with the same name exists at the same folder, you can specify whether a number should be added to the end of the name by selecting the "auto rename" option, or add a number to the old file by selecting the "replace" option, or delete the old file by selecting the "replace (delete the old one)"

Recycle

This deletes the file or folder into the Recycle Bin. The subsequent actions in the same rule will be ignored.

Notify

This shows a notify. You can input some message text and this action will notify you with the file or folder's path and message. You can open the file or locate the file from the notify window.

Open

Opens a file or folder with the default application. You can also select a specific application to open the file.

Print

Prints a file with the default application. You can also select a specific application to print the file.

Run Application

You can specify a specific application. Check the "Pass The File Path" will open the application with parameter.

Add Path to

Adds the file path to a specific list file. This action can help you to create a play list file based on the mp3's artist or genre.

Do Nothing

Do nothing to the file or folder. The subsequent actions in the same rule will be ignored.
